The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the Saline County Jail. The jail is a modern facility with 89 beds. The jail provides inmate safekeeping services for other counties as well as the U.S. Marshal Service. This is a source of income to the county.
In 2007, a new addition was added on to the jail. This new addition resulted in 35 new beds. Since it opened, it has been at full capacity.

Visiting Hours
If you wish to visit an inmate at the Saline County Jail, regular visitation hours are scheduled Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Contact the Sheriff’s Office at 1-402-821-2111 for details prior to visiting.
